This one is 12" x 18" and is $225.  Email Meg West about this painting.

Chile's Peach Orchard, Fall

Just got back from painting this at our beloved Chile's Peach Orchard, right down the road from my house. Everywhere the leaves are so wonderful that I am determined to go out each day until they are all gone! I could paint a dozen right from that one spot, just by turning a bit for a new composition . . . I am at the railroad tracks and turning around I look down the hillside, maybe tomorrow I will show you :-)  16" x 20" $350, framed. SOLD

I went up twice in the last few weeks to paint this and it was interesting to see the changes in colors. I have painted from here in the past and always catch a different section or time of year. Mirador Farm

This was painted last week with my friend Eileen. We had gone back to this same site a week before and I started a really big one, 36" x 48" but VERTICAL for a commission. We were thrilled to see that the bales where still there, and I wanted to do a panoramic view of this farm. Mirador farm is where the "Gibson Girls" lived way back in the 20's I think. (Sorry that the photo has a shadow on the right hand side.) This is hanging at the show at Westminster Canterbury for the month of November.  12" x 48" $550. SOLD

Red Roof House, Highland County

This is a small painting I did the first afternoon on Ginseng Lane, I ended up doing 3, 10" x 12" paintings that afternoon. The funny thing was that the owners come by with the mother cows that they unloaded right where we were painting, and apologized for the noise that was about to happen. . . . They were weening the calves and every single mother and calf where mooing their heads OFF! It was funny and intense at the same time, we all laughed and tried to concentrate! What a hoot!  10" x 12" $125, will be framed.  SOLD

Well, I have been away for a while and have lots of paintings to upload, so will do one a day. (I am also changing from a PC to a MAC so have been delayed because of that.)

Greenwood Home

Nancy and I went this morning and painted in the next neighborhood over, an old established farm area called Greenwood. I had been eyeing this house for a while and knew the morning light was nice. Got there at 8AM and once the barking dog settled down, the shade and quiet morning made it a pleasure to paint. Might go and show it to the owners before I take it to the shop.  8" x 8" on MDF board, will be framed.  $95  SOLD
