Mirador Farm, Day 10 of Challenge

Just re-posted this since I changed it a bit . . . . Studio painting that I have been working on for a while and will be in a show at King Family Vineyards in March and April. A commission for Frank for his birthday, Happy Birthday Frank! I LOVE painting this scene from the road of route 692 . . . but next time I will try another spot. So many places at Mirador to choose from . . . . I will take my camera and wonder around the out-skirts. 20" x 36" oil on canvas framed. Thanks Frank!

Mirador Farm

This is painted for the Roesch's as a commission of Mirador Farm. I started this summer when I got permission to go out when they where baling hay one evening. I just finished it for the Crozet Show where they will come to pick it up. 24" x 36", oil on canvas. SOLD Thanks Anne!

Here is the painting I have been working on for a while as a commission for some local folks. I started it with my friend Eileen and was glad we could go back a week later as well. 36" x 48" oil on canvas, framed, $1,500.  SOLD

Mirador Farm

This was painted last week with my friend Eileen. We had gone back to this same site a week before and I started a really big one, 36" x 48" but VERTICAL for a commission. We were thrilled to see that the bales where still there, and I wanted to do a panoramic view of this farm. Mirador farm is where the "Gibson Girls" lived way back in the 20's I think. (Sorry that the photo has a shadow on the right hand side.) This is hanging at the show at Westminster Canterbury for the month of November.  12" x 48" $550. SOLD
