Blue Ridge Parkway, Spring!

The other evening when the sun finally came out, I got to go up to my favorite spot and painted this before the evening light changed. I know I paint this spot a lot and each time it is a bit different, but that is part of the fun and joy of it all! Happy Spring everyone!
16" x 40" oil on canvas framed, $800   SOLD  thanks Mary Lou!

Fayrview Gardens, Staunton VA, Garden Week

This was my last of seven painting I did during my stay in Staunton, at the Queen City Plein Air Festival. It was wonderfully organized with 23 artists invited to participate. Beverly Street Studio School did an outstanding job, fed us, and found places for us to stay. Funny how my favorite painting was the last one, after the time to turn them in had past . . . 9" x 12" oil on canvas, framed, $225  SOLD
