Painted with a dozen others up at Miller School yesterday and going back today. The light changed about a million times . . . today is clear, blue skies and much cooler. The top photo I will re-take, the bottom one was at the mid-point. I love my new canvases that are 8" by 24", fun panoramic!  SOLD

Above Miller School, Crozet

This was painted this past weekend at the Miller School Paint-Out after I had to bit of a frustrating time and a wipe-out of another painting. Miller School Barn

My second painting from the Miller School Paint-Out last weekend, their abandoned barn in their upper meadow where the track team runs. Thanks to everyone who helped made this weekend successful! 11" x 14" oil on treated paper, framed $200.

Miller School Hillside

This is from the Paint-Out this past weekend up at Miller School here in Crozet. Several friends and I (below is Nancy, Eileen and Barbara in the back).  The painting is a bit more detailed than what I am used to. Will post a painting of the barn from this spot tomorrow.  The show will be hung soon with an opening next Monday October 24 from 6 to 7:30 and will be up till December 16th.  12" x 24" oil on canvas framed, $300. I had forgotten to post this smaller painting of the Miller school Barn I did for the Paint Out last month, sorry! I am hoping they will do the show again next year. I have some newer painting that I hope to post soon.  8" x 10"  SOLD.

Miller School Barn

This was painted this past Saturday on the upper meadow above Miller School, near Crozet. There were about 18 painters who came out for the 1st annual Paint-Out that the school sponsored. This old abandoned barn is wonderful and many of us decided to paint it. I did a smaller one too, which I will post later. Thank you Miller School and faculty! They brought us lunch also :-)  12" x 30" (I must check the size!)  $300  SOLD
