Was offered a place to stay for a few nights at Graves Mill Farm, and painted with friends there in July. Yes, it was hot but we got to swim in their lovely pond! The Highlands, Virginia

Laurel Point Retreat

This is the panoramic view from Laurel Point Retreat in Monterey, Virginia. I painted there the end of June with several other painters for the Paint Out with the Highland County Arts Council. This was my fifteenth year of going! I don't know why I love doing these distant views, but I keep coming back to them.
