Mint Springs, Crozet

This morning Eileen and I meet up early and painted together at Mint Springs which is a county run recreational lake. My children learned to swim here many years ago. This is just a small edge of the lake, and we want to go back to paint the rest of it! 8" x 8" on MDF board, will be framed, $95. SOLD

Greenwood Home

Nancy and I went this morning and painted in the next neighborhood over, an old established farm area called Greenwood. I had been eyeing this house for a while and knew the morning light was nice. Got there at 8AM and once the barking dog settled down, the shade and quiet morning made it a pleasure to paint. Might go and show it to the owners before I take it to the shop.  8" x 8" on MDF board, will be framed.  $95  SOLD

Near Luray, Virginia

This painting was done two weeks ago and I just got back to finishing it. Karen and I went up to Luray to pick up a few paintings and had fun painting near by, along with a picnic lunch. We saw this barn and stopped by and asked the lady at home if she wouldn't mind us painting there, "you just go ahead and help yourself!"
14" x 18" oil on canvas, $225.

The Yellow Shovel

Too HOT to go far to paint this morning so, I went to my husband's garden and loved the shovel look with all the vegetables all around. We are getting our first week of continued tomatoes and have lots of squash and beans. There is a price for these delicious treats, my husband hauls up 5 gallon buckets of water from the creek. Should go paint that next!
8" x 10" on MDF board, will be framed. $125  SOLD

Laurel Fork Rd, Highland County

This was painted with Eileen this past weekend in Highland County on the informal Paint Out. We were parked off the road and in the shade but painting in someones driveway. The farmer came in and out a few times with hay equipment and finally got used to us and would smile and wave. Thinking were we nuts no doubt!
8" x 8" on MDF 1" board, will be framed.  $95  SOLD
