Maupin's Farm, White Hall


This is one of those farms I paint every year because I love this scene with these mountains and farmland. I was out about a month ago with Susan & Chloe, a warn sunny day in February. This is in my show @ WVTF Radio IQ in Charlottesville for the month of March, drop by if you are in the area. 24" x 48" oil on canvas, framed  $1,250   SOLD, thanks Lani!

Maupin's Farm, White Hall, VA

Painted this last week with my friends V-Anne and Noaa, on a hot day, but we managed to stay in the shade. We were in the cemetery at Mount Moriah in White Hall, just north of Crozet. I paint there a few times a year from different spots. 12" x 24" oil on canvas, framed $300, SOLD Thanks Martha!

Grace Estates Vineyard, White Hall

Two recent paintings from Grace Estates Winery, the top painting is a birthday gift to the owners, being delivered in person to Switzerland! The bottom one is available . . . often folks ask me how my paintings are framed. Virginia cherry wood, rough cut from Augusta Lumber that my husband and I rip, plain, sand and stain to make our simple frames. 8" x 10" oil on canvas, framed  $150  SOLD

March Field in White Hall, Virginia

March is a fun time to paint because it is between seasons. The red tops of the maple trees are coming out and yet the grasses aren't greening up yet. It was a windy but warm afternoon. 24" x 36" oil on canvas, framed,  SOLD thanks Barbara!

Grace Estate Winery, White Hall, VA

It is hard to describe being up at the top of the hill at Grace Estates in White hall, the view extends forever! Including all the wonderful vines on their endless hillsides. I painted that day with my friend Ida, shown here, plus several other painters. 8" x 16" oil on canvas, framed  $300, SOLD

Riverdale Farm, White Hall

Summer Cemetery

Susan and I painted in the White Hall cemetery last week in the late afternoon, (not sure of the name of the church). We both found some shade, I under a tree on this road to the East of the cemetery.

Riverdale Farm I
