March on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Painted this in early March at one of my favorite locations on the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can see the difference between the live photograph and the finished painting with the blue cast from the shade unbrella. Perhaps I lost too much of the blue color once I worked on it in my studio! 12" x 16" oil on canvas, framed $295. Showing @ C-ville Arts on the Charlottesville downtown walking mall.
