Maupin's Farm, White Hall

This is one of those farms I paint every year because I love this scene with these mountains and farmland. I was out about a month ago with Susan & Chloe, a warn sunny day in February. Maupin's Farm, White Hall, VA

 

Painted this last week with my friends V-Anne and Noaa, on a hot day, but we managed to stay in the shade. We were in the cemetery at Mount Moriah in White Hall, just north of Crozet. I paint there a few times a year from different spots. 12" x 24" oil on canvas, framed $300, SOLD Thanks Martha!

Maupin's Farm, Whitehall, VA

Last Monday Chloe and I got out to paint in Whitehall at Maupin's Farm, a large track of land with many barns and a pond. I have painted out there each year and try to do a different view. Somehow the main house just happened to creep into the very center of this painting! 12" x 16" oil on canvas framed, $285  SOLD, thanks Martha!
