Three Sheds

Well, I have been away for a while and have lots of paintings to upload, so will do one a day. (I am also changing from a PC to a MAC so have been delayed because of that.)
Four of us, Karen, Eileen, Polly and I have just spent four beautiful days in Highland County where we painted like mad, enjoyed great food, friendship, fruit rum drinks and lots of laughs . . . already planning another adventure!
Here is a small painting that was done in Highland County on the first day there. We were in a field near a road that got very busy with farmhands, trucks, hay and traffic. We thought we had picked a quiet place! 8" x 10" $125, framed.  Email Meg West about this painting.

The Red Barn

Well, we are back from two weeks out West, had a great time visiting my brother in Redwood City, our son in San Fran and taking him to Yosemite for 4 days, our 3rd trip there. We LOVE Yosemite! I have a show this weekend up at Wintergreen Resorts for Sat & Sun, so if you are in the area, stop on by!
Here is a painting I did before we left, with Karen and Nancy, that I will hold onto until next year's group show with them. We are saving one painting a month for the show! 10" x 12"

Nancy and I went this morning and painted in the next neighborhood over, an old established farm area called Greenwood. I had been eyeing this house for a while and knew the morning light was nice. Got there at 8AM and once the barking dog settled down, the shade and quiet morning made it a pleasure to paint. Might go and show it to the owners before I take it to the shop.  8" x 8" on MDF board, will be framed.  $95  SOLD

First Cutting

Sorry this photo is not better! I think when the canvas is so long it is harder to photograph. This was done the other morning with my friend Polly, and I have been working on it the last few days. I got out there last evening also and did one looking the other direction, practical while they were taking the bales I was painting! Will try to re-photograph it later.

This will be the first one, and I am delighted to house this for the year! Will let you know when and where the show is!  16" x 20" oil on board.
