Wintergreen View

I love this view from one of the turn-outs as you go to the top of the mountain. This photograph was taken from last fall. Of course, the three Art & Craft show they have every year are canceled due to the coronavirus. If anyone is in the area of Crozet, you are welcome to drop by, I will bring this or any other paintings out on my porch to view. Please bring a mask!

Three Ridges, Wintergreen

Painted this when I was up at Wintergreen before the 4th of July, Love this spot . . . Also painted a larger one which includes the fence line for a commission. This one is 16" x 40" oil on canvas, will be framed, $450.     (Sorry, the sky got washed out in the photo!)   SOLD

Blue Ridge Overlook, Wintergreen, VA

I have been wanting to paint this panoramic painting from this spot, long and thin, for a while. I have painted up here several times, but I stretched this canvas with the Blue Ridge Overlook in mind. I want to thank Julie and David for letting me stay the night before hand, so I could get two days of painting done. A commission for Mary and Tom, at the top of Wintergreen looking at Three Ridges from the Blue Ridge Overlook. (I want to do a 30" x 60" sometime to get the longer view there, maybe this fall!)
