Lake Sherando, Augusta County

 

Seven of us got out last Saturday at Lake Sherando in Augusta County and painted. But it was too windy up at the lake so we clustered down by the creek, had a nice lunch together as the day warmed up. Thanks to everyone who came out . . .  Elizabeth, Barbara, Jenny, Jean, Julia, and Susan.

Sugar Loaf Road

Yesterday Polly and I went and found this great location on Sugar Loaf Road off of Middlebrook Rd outside of Staunton. We were on our way to pick up paintings at the Bath County Art Show and knew to take our paints with us! And when getting there I found out I had sold two paintings and received a small award  :  )    This is 12" x 36" oil on canvas, framed  $375.
