Susan and I went up to my friend David's place on Wednesday above the Blue Ridge Parkway and painted the views from up there . . . one of my favorite place to go! 12" x 36" oil on canvas, framed $350. SOLD thanks Jenny!
This is up on the ridge above Rockfish Valley that I started in the early fall with the farms down below. There are so many views in this area and places to paint, I never seam to run out of them! 12" x 48" oil on canvas, framed. $650 SOLD

- Meg West
- Crozet, Virginia, United States
- Meg West went to Philadelphia College of Art, majored in Graphic Design, and minored in Painting. After working for several years as a graphic designer, in 2000, she started painting again full time. West paints as a localist, focusing her painting in Albemarle and surrounding Counties, as well as Skyline Drive and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Meg paints every day and enjoys the rhythm and momentum that comes with a steady flow of painting. The act of painting is what is important-enjoying the feeling of being connected to the environment, herself and the painting.
