Rivanna River, Charlottesville

Painted this the last weekend of September with the FLOW Festival and won 3rd place in the plein air event! They had nature sculptures made on location, kids events, gospel, other singing as well as live music & dance . . . It all was along the Rivanna River at Darden Towe Park. Down Stream on the Rivanna River

This was started awhile ago with some friends on a plein air outing on the banks of the Rivanna River at Darden Towe Park in Charlottesville. I have now had time to finish it in this hot weather! 24" x 30" oil on canvas, framed  $685. On hold
Just put three paintings in the Bath County Art Show which is up from July 21 - 29th. And a painting in the Juried Landscape Exhibit at Beverly Street Studio School's gallery in Staunton, Virginia, which is up from July 27 - August 28 . . . come out to either or both of these shows if you can!
