Quick Paint, Jarman's Gap, Crozet

A quick painting, done in an hour as a study on Blair Park Rd next to where I live. I am standing next to a gate but it doesn't block my view at all, but is in front of the canvas. I wanted to see what I could do in an hours time, before the sun went down behind the mountain. (When I took the photo on site, I had not finished the painting.) I went back over the painting . . .   8 1/2" x 8 1/2" oil on canvas, $125 SOLD

Small painting from King Family Vineyards painted this fall before the leaves all fell. There were four of us out there on a cold windy day!

Jarmans Gap Evening Hay Bales

This painting I started a few weeks ago across the road from my house. They move the bales FAST, so I went out two evenings in a row. 16" x 40" oil on canvas, SOLD up at Wintergreen this weekend, thanks Kristin!
Going today for a week long artist retreat at Mountain Lake, Virginia . . . don't know if I can post from there, but will try!
