From Cadillac Mountain, Acadia

This was painted from one of the pull-outs on Cadillac Mountain, looking north-east. David was able to hike from there down to Seal Harbor, where we were staying. 12" x 16" oil on board, framed $325  SOLD

Sand Beach, Acadia

Painted this at Sand Beach, Acadia on a perfect day, and David took a hike while I enjoyed painting. This is really the only large beach in Acadia. 10" x 10" oil on canvas, framed $185

The Bubbles @ Jordon Pond, Acadia

The Bubbles @ Jordon Pond, beautiful clear day, I painted while David walked around. If you know this pond, it is much bigger than it looks here, I was sitting on a rock, so less water from that perspective.   6" x 12" oil on canvas, framed $145   SOLD

Sand Beach, Acadia

Painted way up on the rocks above Sand Beach with a new friend Diana Cobb Ansley, whom I meet on Monhegan Island a few days before hand. It was fun to be up high looking down! Long Beach is the only real beach in all of Acadia. 10" x 12" oil on board, framed $150.

The Bubbles, Jordon Pond, Acadia

We had a great time at Monhegan Island and Acadia, Maine . . . I got to paint many times and David went hiking and birding. I need to work on a few of the paintings so will post when they are ready. It was amazing to have the time to enjoy and appreciate what Rockefeller gave to this country with Acadia, what a special place! SOLD
