Painted this recently from Chiswell Winery in Greenwood, just down the road from me. Humpback Mountain is one of our favorite hikes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, about six miles south of Afton, where the parkway starts. Chiswell Winery is new and is owned by Chile's Peach Orchard. They put in the vines last summer but already had vines and wine near Charlottesville. The bales are left from the fall and I like them in the composition. 16" x 40" oil on canvas, framed $695.
