Painted this at 537 Main Street, Little Washington, two weekends ago when I was up in Sperryville. So many wonderful homes and spots to paint, next time I will stop by and find another one. This will be in the show along with several other paintings of mine, plus a dozen plein air painters @ River District Arts. The show is from August 16 through October 12. 11" x 14" oil on canvas, framed, $250.

- Meg West
- Crozet, Virginia, United States
- Meg West went to Philadelphia College of Art, majored in Graphic Design, and minored in Painting. After working for several years as a graphic designer, in 2000, she started painting again full time. West paints as a localist, focusing her painting in Albemarle and surrounding Counties, as well as Skyline Drive and The Blue Ridge Parkway. Meg paints every day and enjoys the rhythm and momentum that comes with a steady flow of painting. The act of painting is what is important-enjoying the feeling of being connected to the environment, herself and the painting.
